Welcome to the Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague

One of the most remarkable buildings on the Spui; in the middle of The Hague city center.

Founded in 1656, this beautiful location is one of the oldest buildings in downtown The Hague and also a National Monument. Because of its rich history, impressive architecture and beautiful location, the church can rightly be called one of the most beautiful places in the city.

De Nieuwe Kerk is a multifunctional location with many possibilities. Acoustically, this beautiful location belongs to the top of Europe as a stage for classical music.

The Church Hall

The Church Hall is ideal for the plenary parts of your event. The space is completely pillar-less so nothing takes the focus away. “Eye-catching” are the high-tech acoustic screens in the room. These transparent eye-catchers ensure that sound remains central in the Church Hall, without reverberation.

In addition, thanks to its enormous windows, the Church Hall is extremely light, keeping your guests sharp and alert. Naturally, the room can be completely or partially darkened for projections, for example.

The Church Hall has a capacity of 450 people in theater set-up.

The hall is also equipped with a modern lighting and sound system to support your event. Of course, we can always adapt this to your specific needs.

This atmosphere is of course also very suitable for stylish dinners or walking dinners. Together with our partners, we would like to see how we can best translate your wishes into the ultimate culinary experience.

The Souterrrain

The souterrain is the perfect place to receive your guests or for drinks after the meeting. This space can accommodate up to 400 people and is furnished with buffets, cocktail set-up with standing tables and seating and of course our wardrobe.

Due to our location in the city center we also have ideal public transport connections. The Hague Central Station is only 800 meters away on a walk. Various bus and streetcar connections stop right in front of the door.
